Questions to ask when reviewing business debt

Questions an owner can ask before discussing MCA or other business debt. Not legal advice, and not a promised result.

A useful review starts with questions the documents can answer. It does not start with a target savings number. These questions do not produce an outcome by themselves.

  • How many positions are debiting the business, and who is the other party on each?
  • What is the payment, and how often does it leave the account?
  • What does the contract call the transaction?
  • Are there UCC filings, and which agreements mention them?
  • Which operating bills are due in the same week as the withdrawals?
  • What remains possible if a funder or creditor says no?

If a question is really about a lawsuit, a judgment, or the meaning of a clause, that question belongs with a lawyer. Blue Vanguard is not a law firm. This is general information for business owners. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice, and it does not describe a Blue Vanguard result.
