Hospitality
Occupancy changes. Staffing and vendor bills often do not.
Hotels and other hospitality businesses can see deposits rise and fall with the calendar while payroll, maintenance, and vendors stay in place. MCA withdrawals may follow card deposits through both kinds of weeks. A review looks at that mix. It does not promise a full season.

A calendar business with fixed operating costs.
Hospitality revenue often moves with occupancy, events, and season. Staffing, maintenance, and vendor bills are harder to turn off for a quiet week. If merchant cash advances debit card deposits every day, both a busy week and a slow week are part of the picture. Not every property uses this kind of financing.
Common pressure points
Businesses in this industry may face
Occupancy and seasonality
Deposits can swing with the calendar while many bills do not.
Staffing
A property still needs people on shift in a softer week.
Maintenance
Rooms and common areas create costs that are not optional for long.
Vendor expenses
Linens, food, and supplies may be due on terms unrelated to occupancy.
Card deposits
Guest payments by card can be the same account an MCA debit uses.

How it works
Match the withdrawal pace to the actual weeks.
The review uses the property's deposits and agreements, not an average for the industry. A different pace is a request, not a right.
01
Review
Card deposits, seasonality, and the current debit schedule.
02
Strategy
Whether a conversation with a funder is a reasonable next step.
03
Negotiate
A proposal only where it may help. Acceptance is not assured.
04
Resolve
If a funder agrees to a change, the terms are written down. Agreement is never assumed.
Industry notes
Properties are not interchangeable.
Season is local
A beach week and a city weekday do not describe every property.
Management companies differ
The review follows the business that signed, which may not be the brand on the building.
No occupancy forecast
This page does not predict bookings or a recovery in deposits.
Questions
Straight answers
Can a slow occupancy week be included in an MCA review?
Yes, as part of the cash-flow context. A quiet week does not require a funder to pause or reduce a withdrawal.
Are staffing and vendor bills part of the picture?
They can be, so withdrawals are not reviewed as if the property had no operating costs. They are not ranked as legal priorities here.
Does a review cover every brand or franchise rule?
No. Franchise and brand obligations are separate. This work is about business-debt and MCA agreements in the file.
Can stacked advances on one property be reviewed together?
Yes. The combined debit is the point of looking at them together. Each funder still answers for itself.
